Handbrake or Mediahub? and Videora question?

Which do you use and why?

I have only been using handbrake but have some files I would like to convert for AppleTV, i smediahub the best way to do this?

I would prefer to do it on a PC but Videora seems to be only for ipods, can anyone tell me what I should pick on videora for it to look good on an appleTV?

Why would you want to do it on a PC?

For ripping DVDs, there is no better software than HandBrake on any platform.

I rip all my DVDs with Mac The Ripper (v3.014M) and then encode with Handbrake. I'd only need VisualHub if I want to transcode movies in other formats. For example, my friends have tons of Anime they pulled down off BitTorrent, most of which are .AVI files.

I don't know if VisualHub is still restricted to encoding 5.1 sound in only .MOV containers, but my understanding is you cannot tag such files. Handbrake encodes 5.1 in an M4V container identical to how Apple encodes their 5.1 HD movies.

On my Mac I use MTR and then Handbrake or Visual Hub.

On my Windows PC I use AnyDVD / AnyDVD HD and then Handbrake. I usually do more of the ripping on my PC now since it's a quad core with 4 GB of RAM and usually does it twice as fast as my MBP.
