Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to help me!

My problem is that Im ripping MY MOVIES with handbrake to put into itunes so I can watch on my apple tv or iPhone. I get them into iTunes via MetaX. Once they get into iTunes, they all do go into iTunes and I can watch them on my iMac no problem. Then, I go to my apple TV and its hit and misses whether they will show up on my apple tv. I code them all MP4 with all the same settings and some (75%) will make it to my apple tv, some wont. Anyone know why? Thanks

They may be over the max bitrate for the :apple:TV, have you tried using the AppleTV default profile? Does it work then?

I dont like using the h.264 function, it takes sooo long in comparison. I doubt that Im over the max bitrate because I set it for 1000, that is lowering it from the default 1500.

Yeah, probably not over the bitrate. What codec are you using, really, you should be using h.264, it's the best for :apple:TV.
