Yesterday, I updated Handbrake to the latest version. After initially having problems because I didn't have VLC installed, I got everything working. But I have a question.
When I use the AppleTV preset, an hour television show now comes back with a file size of about 700MB. Previously, under the prior version of Handbrake, using the AppleTV preset on an hour television show would give me a file size of about 1.1GB. My questions:
(1) does the smaller file size in the new version of Handbrake mean that my picture quality is not going to be quite as good?
(2) if so, how would I best go about adjusting the AppleTV settings in Handbrake so that I ended up with a larger file size and better picture?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
