Have been using Yosemite and iOS 8 on my iPhone and iPad and it used to be working.

But then yesterday I replaced my iMac with the 5K model and then Handoff breaks down.

Both the WIFI and bluetooth of all of the devices are switched on.

I get back the function for iPhone after logging out of iCloud and turning on/off Bluetooth/Handoff on iPhone but I cannot get iPad to work.

Can somebody shed some light on this :(

Only suggestion I can make (and this is only because a friend of mine had the issue I'm about to ask about) - and I'm sorry if it seems a dumb question but sometimes the obvious is easily overlooked - are you signed into iCloud with the exact same email address on all 3 devices? It's the one instance where the iCloud ID is not interchangeable and has to be the same.

Again, sorry if it's the dumb question, but it helped my mate :)

Thats a weird issue, just got my 5k iMac today and have not tried hands off yet and got a bit worried that I might have the same issue to, but it's all working for me.

Does hands off use wi-fi or bluetooth ?
