I have Yosemite installed on a 2013 Retina MBP.
I have iOS 8.1 installed on my iPhone 6.

On both devices, handoff is enabled in settings.
Both devices are connected to the same wifi network.

Messages and voice calls can be taken on my Mac, although I can't confirm whether those include SMS as well as iMessage, as I've not sent any SMS messages yet I don't think, only iMessages.

However, if I open a web page on safari, or pages etc. I get no extra icon on the dock (if I opened those on my iphone), nor do I get the icon in the lock screen of my iphone (if I opened those on my mac).

Can anyone figure out why this might be?

Bump

Any help?

This is one of the major advantages of Yosemite and that it's not working as it should is really annoying.

Thanks. That does seem to have made a difference.

Safari comes up for handoff on mac and iphone, as does phonecalls and messages, but Pages won't for some reason... :(
