iPad Hands Free Siri and Upgrade

Does the iPad 10.2 inch have Siri hands-free without being plugged in. According to their website it does not. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT209014

I’m considering upgrading, if it’s really an upgrade, from my iPad air 2 to the latest iPad. Minus the laminated display it seems like everything else is either equal or an upgrade. Am I missing anything?

iPad (7th generation) Release Date: September 29, 2019

Don't have an iPad 7 with me right now to check but I'm pretty sure it has hands-free Hey Siri. Yes, minus the laminated display and being slightly thicker and heavier as a result, the iPad 7's a pretty decent upgrade over the Air 2.

Honestly, the iPad Air 3 is an even better upgrade.
