Hands On Expereince i7 w/ 512MB 4850 Graphics

Hey Guys,

Longtime Reader, first time poster.

My wife and I are soon going to purchase the i7 27". I wondered if anyone has experience with the graphics while playing WoW, CoD, and other high end video games in OSX (not on Windows).

I recently just sold my last gaming system and now 100% mac. Obviously this machine will need to last a several years so I need to get the best graphics possible.

Anyone out there have any experiences gaming on the new i7? How well did it perform? What settings? What did you all play?

I haven't tried raiding on WoW yet, but I can tell you with ALL settings maxed and about 40 addons, it sits on a constant 30fps in Dalaran. 60 would be nicer but it runs fine. Here is an old screenshot to show you how many addons lol

CoD runs fine with all settings maxed and AA off
