Not exactly an Apple TV topic, but have tonight watched Hangover 2 on DVD and series 4 episode 3 of Being Human and I have laughed more in the first 15 minutes of Being Human than the whole film of Hangover 2.
Also I've had a few vodkas.

----------

BTW I did watch Being Human on an Apple TV...

Series 4 does have some great episodes, but some poor ones as well, especially the first 2. Being Human works best when it is the supernaturals trying to live a normal life. Not so good when it is all the big world domination storylines.

Can't remember the first 2 episodes (vodka) think they were Ok, was more making the comparison between Hollywood film and bbc Wales (I think) telly program.

The Hangover should have been a 1 film only thing. Making a second was purely a cash grab, nothing more.

Imo both are fairly overrated anyway. Just a load of chav's hyping it up because its a bunch of blokes getting out of it.

Being Human seemed decent, although I only watched a few of season 4. Was tempted to just get them off itunes.

Haven't seen either of the Hangover movies, but have seen every episode of Being Human.

It got a lot less comedy and a lot more serious in series 4, however it is a fantastic series.

Hollywood pumps out lots of weak comedies, yet the BBC has made loads of great sit-coms. Looking at my DVD collection I see Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Porridge, Citizen Smith, Blackadder and Coupling.

But on the other hand, there have been some great Hollywood comedies and some very weak BBC comedies.

Being Human is one of my favorite shows. Are you watching the BBC or US version?

US versions of UK comedies or comedy dramas are rarely successful, I'd been warned off even looking at the US versions of 2 of my favourites because they are so bad (Red Dwarf and Coupling) so don't plan on trying the American versions of anything else unless I hear otherwise.

I have watched both and I have throughly enjoyed both. One of the few exceptions. Well worth checking out the US version.

I am also enjoying both the US and BBC shows. I'm glade that with the US version they have taken a different story line/path from that of the BBC show. :)

oh, and I'm enjoying Lost Girl as well.

Lost Girl I am still on the fence with. I like a lot of the scenes! :D But the show as a whole hasn't really done it for me. I am still DVR'ing it and watching, I figure a season worth of material should be enough.
