The Washington Post has been bringing people's attention to the fact that this is the tenth anniversary of the very first Apple retail store, which is in McLean, VA at the Tysons Center shopping mall. One guy drove all the way across country to pay a visit to the store.

An interesting article about the store and this includes a video of Steve Jobs taking viewers for a "tour" of the new store prior to its opening. What's fun is to look at the iBooks, iMacs from that time, all proudly displayed on the tables and around the store. Back then they featured a "Home and School" users section and a "Pro" section.....
