Seriously - not half bad - I tried to take pictures of fireworks a few years back at a Rockies game but they turned out horribly (my Minolta did a poor job at high-ISOs)

Never made it to the fireworks in Olympia WA.

Any advice on taking pictures of campfires at night?

I didn't take any fireworks shots this year, but here are two from a couple of years ago that I still like (taken with a Canon Powershot S2):

Columbia, MD Fireworks Show

Some of my best shots from our back yard. We didn't even try to get close to the lake because of traffic, but you gotta love the 12x zoom. :)
