Purchased the 2023 M3 Pro Black 16" MacBook Pro and it is awesome. Experiencing some odd haptic feedback on surfaces when moving my hand or finger(s) across surfaces. A slight vibration under the finger or hand. Example: when touching the MacBook and slightly moving across any surface, there is a vibration similar to what it would feel like scrubbing a finger across a sticky rubber surface. Doing this while touching any surface with my other hand, negates the vibration. Weird.

Anyone else find this feature disturbing?

Is it plugged into a wall outlet ?

If so, are you in Europe, where many outlets are only "2-prong" (i.e., no ground pin) ?

Thanks. Definitely was static. When on battery no vibration. Also exchanged the plug on the AC block for an AC cable with a three pin plug (US 60 Hz) and the issue was resolved. :)

Glad you resolved your issue. By the way, does your M3 Pro have 18 GB RAM or 36 GB?

Even in the US, the MacBooks and chargers are ungrounded as the duckhead only has two prongs.

To properly ground it, you need the extension cable or a third party duckhead that has the ground prong.

The three prong AC cable from the old AC block seemed to work, even though the block only has two pins. Thanks.
