Ok, I need a new hard drive for a 1.2Ghz G4 iBook. My options are:

Order online at get a Western Digital Scorpio 100GB 5400rpm 2MB Cache drive for £72.45 and get it tomorrow.

Or...

Go and pick up a Samsung HM100JC 100GB 5400rpm 8MB Cache drive for £84.49 including bus fair.

I could wait until tomorrow and get the cheaper one but I would quite like to put this 'book back together again today so as not to have loads of parts lying around my floor. I'm trying to keep the costs down with this 'book so the cheaper one is appealing but then the other one also has four times as much cache.

Which one would you get?

Lol, the strange thing is I'm already in town but PC World is out of town!

I cannot vote since there is no Seagate Momentus option...

I agree I'd rather have a Seagate drive since they're my favourite drives by a long long way, however, an 80gb Momentus 5400rpm would cost £88.48 and it'd arrive tomorrow.

Incidentally, for anyone interested, there's a 40gb seagate momentus ata 5400 rpm drive going on dabs for £29.62 delivered.

I think I might just go and get the PC World one.
