Ok I've got an iMac G4 and recently it's hard drive just decided to pack in, so I've taken it into a apple specialist who have replaced it's hard drive. However I have now lost all of my songs, to mention other things, yet I have all of my songs stored on my 3G iPod. I am currently running the last addtion of iTunes (6.0.1) and have got my iPod settings to automatic update. So how can I transfer all of my songs back from my iPod to my iTunes library?

If you are trying to get your tunes off your ipod, look into getting a program called "redchair" it allows you to view the view the contents of your ipod....not sure if it works on a mac but your can always run it on a friends PC and transfer the tunes to his pc and then back to yours.
I have a worse dilema, my laptop fell on one of our local freeways when the saddlebags on my motorcycles broke off. I was able to save the hard drive but now I don't know how to go about retrieving all my information and files from it to transfer it to my new computer. My old computer was a titanium G4 and now I am stuck using a slow ibook.
does anyone know how I can access my hard this drive?
