Hard Drive for macbook

Is there a difference between SATA and SATA2? I'm looking to upgrade the hard drive on my macbook, I've found a Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 320GB Serial ATA II Internal Hard Drive(16mb cache) and a Western Digital Caviar SE16 250GB Serial ATA II Internal Hard Drive(16mb cache) and Samsung 250g SATA II(8mb cache) all for under $100. Are these the correct types of internal drives I should be looking at for my macbook? Any recommendations?
 
It is quite amusing, there are a lot of people looking at desktop drives to put in the macbook.

Even with the screen closed on the macbook, a desktop drive is thicker than the macbook itself!

For replacing the internal drive on the macbook, you need a 2.5" (notebook) SATA drive. The highest capacity that currently exists is 160GB however seagate will be rolling out some higher capacity ones before the year ends.
 
I'm thinking of upgrading my drive for the heck of it, but I've got a back-up already, and I have no idea how I would fill up 160 Gigs of space...some people must save every. single. thing. they find on the internet.

With that said, hopefully the increase in options from seagate will lead to a decrease in prices of the current choices.

I filled up my 60gb quick on my macbook. First, it really is only 55gb then I used 10 for XP and with word and toast and a few hundred songs and a bunch of pictures it only has 10gb on the Mac side and 4 on the xp side.
