hard drive help needed

Just bought a 2020 M1 mac mini with a 512 SSD, hard drive on the desktop shows 245 GB, disk utility has (apple media 245GB) and (container4 251GB) any way to combine them to get the full 512, or close to it? seem like im only able to access half of it. thanks mike

No way. What you're seeing is normal. Your SSD is 512 GB. Don't worry about it and don't mess with it.

Open your terminal, then type the command

diskutil list

, then press enter.
