I have 3 hard drives that I need to get data off of. But I am just not well versed in hard drives. Can somebody tell me what plugs or connector or whatever I have to buy to get the data off of them?

And just for completeness sake, they were drives formerly attached to a Mac.

Thanks for any help you can offer :)

Looks like an IDE cable is needed. If you just need to get the data off once, you can skip buying an enclosure and just get an IDE cable/adapter that has the other port you will connect to the computer on the other end (examples here).

As Jent said, looks like you'll need a SATA to USB adapter. Or you could get an enclosure for it which will probably have the right cables too. Just make sure the male connector looks like the female one in your pictures because they can vary. Amazon.co.uk : sata to usb
