SO before I took out my standard 2x256 Ram dimm's and installed 2x1gb dimms, my hard drive had 75.9GB of space left. Once I installed the new ram and ran memtest (which has been deleted) I only have 74.4GB of space left, not a big deal but I want to know where it went.

I uninstalled memtest, and deleted a few pictures so I should actually have at least 75.9GB of HD left right? Or could the new ram have caused the HD loss?

I already ran whatsize and nothing seems added or off, things are just bigger...

ANy help would be appreciated!

It's likely virtual memory, since your hard drive space decreased by the same as your RAM increased. Not a biggee and the increased RAM is well worth it.
