hard drive swap

hi does anyone know if i disconnect my internal hard drive from my imac g5
and put it in a external enclosure will all the data be wiped ?

and also does anyone know what particular model of the seagate 750gb works with the imac g5 ?

All your data will still be there. Infact you can boot from it and you won't know the difference.

I am pretty sure its a sata drive. If I am wrong I will be amazed.

Like he said.. it'll work just fine.

And the Seagte drive, just make sure it's a SATA drive and you're good to go.

Just don't destroy your iMac taking it apart.
