Hello People, I was wondering if it was possible to take out the hard drive of a 2006-ish imac, and put it in a macbook (Aluminum, to be exact). And yes, I know it would be easier to just transfer the data, but I want my iMac's bigger hard drive in my macbook. Is this possible? And if so, how? Thanks!

No. Aside from possible connector issues (PATA vs SATA) the drive in your imac is 3.5". The drive in your macbook is 2.5". It would not physically fit.
