Streaming music is great and everything, but I find that it drains my phone and I spend a lot of time out of service. It's been a while since my old 30 gb iPod has had enough storage to fit my library so I've been looking into getting a new one. All of my music is in iTunes and I like how easy it is to sync so I know that I wanted another iPod. However, the prices of the now discontinued classics are creeping up and as a college student I'm trying to keep costs low. I've been looking into swapping out the hard drive on either an older classic or iPod mini with a cf card and it seems like a fix that I could do. My question is, does anyone know approximately how much storage space a 128gb card would get me after it's formatted and the os is installed? I'd like about 100gigs because my current library is about 82 and I'd like some room. The price difference between 128 and 256 is pretty substantial so if I can get away with the smaller capacity I would like it. Forgive me if this has been answered before, I did some googling and haven't found an answer.
