I ran a verify disk today and my Mac HD Startup disk needed "minor repair." This is the second time I've had this happen this month. Also, I went ahead and checked my external drive and it also needed "minor repair." Of course I didn't have to use the Install disc for the external but I did for the internal.

So, my question is should I be worried? I've never had this happen before. I'm using a Macbook Pro with a 100 gig 5400 RPM internal.

So you repaired it and it came back as fine afterwards? I wouldn't be too worried. Laptops can get jerked around a bit and these errors can arise if that happens when the hard disk is reading or writing. Maybe be more gentle with your machine when it's working with the hard drive. Keep jerks, jolts and spins to a minimum. :)
