What exactly does a hard reset delete off the phone? I want to do it I just don't want to delete things I need
And OT my phone says the tweet sound is set for twitter notifications, but plays the stock SMS sound when pops up. Any idea?

By 'hard reset' you're talking about holding the power and home buttons together for 5 seconds, right?

That doesn't delete anything, just the current RAM. So I guess it's possible you'll lose data in an app that's currently running, but just hit home and go to the main homepage on the phone before doing it and you'll be fine.

As already mentioned it doesn't delete anything but what's present in RAM from open apps.

Regards your other question I think you might be mixing up the tweet sounds Twitter makes within the app the sound Notications makes when it notifies you of a message from Twitter.
