Hi all,

I hope this is the right subforum.

I am looking for a hardware based AirPlay 2 capable transmitter.

This is wha t I want to achieve: I have a Panasonic TV with optical and analog outputs. Further, I have Sonos Five (2. gen) AirPlay 2 capable music box. I want to use the Sonos as output for several input devices. Apple products work out-of-the-box. For Windows machines, I am using TuneBlade to send the signal to Sonos. For the TV part, I am looking for a piece of hardware, which accepts audio input and stream it AirPlay2 compatible to the Sonos box.

I have tried to find such device but only the receiver side is offered, i.e. to make non-Airplay2 devices AirPlay 2 ready.

Is there anything available to serve my purpose or do you have any other ideas how to get the sound from the TV to the box (without using 3,5mm cable)?
