My IMac is 4 years old and is the type with the hemispheric enclosure. All connectors are on the back and someone must have tipped the enclosure back to clean up some spilled whatever (one of my grandkids, I suspect). In doing so I believe they caused some damage inside where the cables plug into innards. I suspect the mating connectors on the computer are mounted right on the mother board. I get occasional power interruptions and my shift key acts like the tab key at times. Wiggling the cables coming in has corrected the problem so far, for a while anyway. Does this sound like a correctable (servicable) problem? Anyone got a clue?
