Would you like the hardware, the design to change in the next generation iPad, maybe more like the iPhone 4?

The iPad has to be taperd otherwise it would be hard to pick up from a flat surface. The iPhone is small and light enough to pick it up with one hand. However for the iPad you need to slide your fingers under the iPad to lift it up.

Aside of that a camera will come at least on the front side. A glass back with a metal rim is possible but I guess there is so much development money sunk into the current version that I guess Apple will keep it for 2-3 generations.

Internal stuff like ram will change of course.

God PLEASE NO!! The iphone4 looks like a 1990's candybar phone, I still can't believe they left exposed screws on the casing. What a huge step backwards, I hope they don't ruin the ipad with that crap.

I would like to see a number of improvements.

A multicore processor. More RAM. A front facing camera. And the squarish iPhone 4 design is something that I really like.

I want the glass Apple on the back to light up. You can turn it off in settings for those who say it uses too much power but it would only take one led. :D

I think the apple is rubber. And that's a dumb idea. Every iPad I've seen has been in a case. It would just kill battery and look dumb. I like the black logo.

Whatever they do, I hope the size stays the same for at least one iteration. . . I have 4 cases already!

Apple may just do that. The design akin to iPhone 4 would increase the internal space. SJ could then make the iPad even more thin, but still increase the battery size (or at least keep it the same).

True, I guess I never really noticed them before the 3g and 3gs are so sleek and modernistic. The ip4 chunkiness really brings them out.

This sort of stuff is entirely personal and subjective; to my eyes the older iPhones look sort of blobby and non-descript while the iPhone 4 looks much sleeker.
