Hardware updates question

i am curious to just see what everyone is thinking in the terms of when hardware updates for the MB and MBP are. im looking to buy a new mac. do you think the macbook line will be updated along WWDC or alongside leopard or MWSF '08? i know about santa rosa...but i mean other stuff than just that. new updates all together...not just the guts of the hardware, physical too. maybe new ones beside leopard or no? or just this summer then MWSF...just a random question. but i was just curious as to what everyone thought

Apple always updates everything. So just jump in when YOU need a machine.

How many of these threads do we really need?

I hate to be a pain, but we see so many of these threads, and the ultimate answer is always "no one but Apple - and to an extent their suppliers - knows what the future will bring."

People thought Leopard would be here in April. It won't be. We thought 8-core Mac Pros would come earlier and make the other Pros cheaper. They didn't.

We don't know.
