harm done -> battery

Hey I want to buy an extra macbook pro charger but I heard that the one for the macbook is lighter 1) is that true
and if i buy it, 2) can i charge my macbook pro with it?
and if i can, 3) will it do any harm to the battery and/or computer?

(i don't care about charge speed)

I think that it will not be good for your battery. I would not do it.

It will work fine! It's lighter/smaller than the MBP charger, and it doesn't seem to get quite as hot.

I had to use one for a day on my MBP because my original charger melted It will charge quite a bit slower though...

It would be fine but would charge very slow, I would just go with what's supposed to be used with you MBP.
