Based on what Aspyr originally told us, I was under the impression that it would be released no more than one month after the PC version of quake wars came out.

They said a "near simultaneous release" or something like that, right? And up until the last time I checked, it was always one of the top 3 "COMING SOON" games on their homepage, but now it's not even there : \

I mean the game still has a page on their website, but the link from the front page is gone, and they STILL haven't listed system requirements, and since they say "System requirements are finalized approximately 4-6 weeks before a title ships" at http://www.aspyr.com/product/game_specs/78 , then we can reason it's gonna be more than another month.

super... lame....

According to Aspyr's october 2007 newsletter (http://marketing.aspyr.com/newsletters/Aspyr_October_2007/index.html), Quake Wars was coming along nicely. They said:

"We've been working on compatibility with OS X Leopard, and tuning performance on the broadest range of Intel Macs we can. The online part of the game is playing very well against PC's, and as soon as we polish up a few more optimizations and bug fixes the game should be ready to go off for the last round of testing and approvals"

So four months later, I'm feeling sort of let down about the game that was supposed to be released "shortly" after the PC version.''

If I dug deeper into this, do you suppose the best answer I'd get would be "we're waiting for apple and ATI to release new drivers?"
