Well I am pretty astounded to be honest. I have just had a play on WoW but still on patch 9.01 unfortunately running on Intel code.

This thing just does not slow down, graphics setting 10 with shadows on high at 1440x900 resolution, solid 60fps in Icecrown.

I can also move between apps with no lag using mission control.

WoW, and that’s the 7 core model? I’d prob want to bump up to 1080 when I play, but if you are at 10, that’s amazing... native will be even better. Thanks for the info, I’m not getting mine til this weekend. Have fun!

When testing the performance of WoW on the M1 Macs, make sure you turn off the "Target FPS" setting that was just added in retail WoW.

Target FPS was added to provide a smoother gameplay experience, but could give the wrong impression for the performance of the machine that the game is running.

It priorities FPS over other settings and will ignore the system settings by lowering the quality of the graphics to achieve the desired FPS.

Anyone posting FPS or experience with playing retail WoW should turn off that setting, as the default is set to 60FPS.

Just for reference, I was just getting 60 FPS on my 8 year old Mac.
