has anyone bought a phone within last week and got 3.1.2?

i just ordered my phone through att online yesterday. i went with refurbish hoping i would get 3.1.2. anyone had any luck with buying a phone recently and it having 3.1.2?

not sure if this helps at all, but i got a replacement/refurb unit via bestbuy warranties service and it was a 3gs with 3.1.2 granted all that comes in the box is the phone but at least it had 3.1.2. also, this was within the past 10 days.

Two weeks ago I got a brand new out of the original box replacement and it was running 3.1.3.

Yes. Actually my best friend and her husband got theirs last week, it had 3.1.2 and our other friend Pat got his a day before they did and his also had 3.1.2. He got his from the walmart att kiosk and Michael and Kayla got theirs from Att online.

wait a day or two till ya get your phone and you will know 100%. refurbished would have a better chance at 3.1.2 I would think, soon enough y'all know.

I would think you would have a better chance of getting 3.1.2 if you bought it new from somewhere where they don't sell too many. Where that is, I don't know, but I'm sure someone here would know what stores don't sell too many iPhones.

My dad recently an iPhone 3Gs and it came with 3.1.3 and a serial code with MC

sounds like a good idea except i never asked anyone to tell me what my phone was coming with. I asked what software others got on a phone they recently purchased.

I don't know where or how those people got an iPhone with 3.1.2. That's extremly lucky. I'm assuming you want 3.1.2 so u can jailbreak.. Just because your phone comes with 3.1.2 does not mean it's going to have an untethered jailbreak..3.1.3 came out about a month ago.. iPhones with newbootroms came out 6 months ago..
