Ok - I keep hearing "it should work" when asking if you can connect a pc with a display port graphics card to a 27" iMac - but I've yet to hear from anyone that's actually had it work.

If you can connect a mac book via the display port, it would seem that if you put a display port graphics card in your pc, that you'd be able to hook your pc up to the iMac and use it as a monitor.

I know you can use boot camp and other options, but I personally like having a separate machine - currently I have an old dual G5 mac pro and a pc, both connected to a 24" monitor with dual inputs. I love being able to switch back and forth and would love to replace the G5 with a new iMac, but I don't want two giant monitors - no room on the desk.

So, has anyone seen it work????
