Has anyone considered this...?

I was just thinking about what may come on Tuesday. There was a supposed picture of a new iPod or PDA released that is being questioned. Someone guessed the size of the screen to be 9" in comparison to the sticker on it.

Has anyone else thought this could be the tablet? It makes sense to mimic the iPod with the tablet. It technically would not be a PDA because it would increase in size.

Not to be condescending... but yeh, I think it’s safe to say everyone has considered this.

Could be, but if this is real (which I'm not yet convinced about) then the test card shown on the screen would indicate some kind of video capability, which for me points more towards the video iPod.

Sorry. I guess I just had not considered that the thing we were seeing was actually the tablet.

I guess this morning's comment about the rumors centering around a low level laptop and a mac mini sparked the idea. I doubt apple would release another ipod this early in the game. It seems to soon/to small of an event for the new iBooks.

Steve jobs has always said that he didn't think people would watch movies on a small screen. If the plans are to put feature length movies on the iTunes store then the tablet would be great to introduce them.

I really think that picture was legit and that the iPod wont change any time soon.

I agree. Everyone is really excited by this flurry of photos... the newst photo really looks similar to the others and coming from different sources... very exciting.

I hope it is a tablet... but a tablet before the iBooks doesn't make sense to me. Apple should release the iBook first to get buyers of it.. then the tablet to get people to buy it also or move sideways.

Seem like even Microsoft has considered it. They appear to be announcing/releasing a product in that space next week.
