Has anyone done a beta update from their non-iTunes library machine?

Hey all,
I had to bring my MacBook pro to the apple store for replacement of the screen and fix my trackpad. Needless to say, they told me 5-7 days. So when beta 3 comes out, can I update from another MacBook without needing to resync?

I'm restoring my MacBook Pro's information onto my wife's MacBook :) So if I need to resync I wont have a problem :)
