I've noticed that websites tend to hang for a second or two then continue loading. Many times it hangs when close to finish loading. Then zooms.

Before the update it just zooms without the hang.
Websites such as google, apple, facebook, photobucket etc.

I saw that a few people in the Macbook Pro forum have also noticed slower wifi connections after the update.

Am I the only one feeling this on the iMac?

Me too, to the extent that I reloaded from the disc that came with my i5 imac.
Just about every five minutes I would lose the internet, and even when it worked web site loading was painful if at all possible.
Since reverting back to 10.6.2 I have my very fast browser back again.
I am surprised at the lack of news on this problem.

Apart from getting the thinky-ball a lot more, there are no changes in performance from .3 to .4 for me.

I've noticed nothing new with 10.6.4, but with Safari 5, Safari lock up and beach balls a lot, and its rather annoying. I then even have trouble force quitting Safari 5 when it locks up, same problem happens with safari 5 on a windows machine.
