I own a Logitech Wireless Desktop LX700, which is on my PC, and a Apple Bluetooth Keyboard and the Logitech MX1000 and I couldn't live without wireless. My PC has wireless because it's a media center. I have experienced "jumps" on boths sets, but i have also experienced jumps on wired optical mice. It's just a glitch in the mice. I couldn't live without wireless now.dpaanlka said:Wireless = Yuck
Get a wired keyboard and mouse unless you actually need wireless for some reason. Every wireless mouse I ever used skips and jumps, and they all need batteries.
There was a good article somewhere about how the consumer world has gone a little too far with this wireless craze, and how some things are just better with wires.

Rechargeable battery- just pop it in the cradle, laser instead of optical so it is more precise, I only get skips and jumps when the battery is about dead and it shows you the battery indicator right there on the mouse. Contoured well, full size, 4 way/click scroll wheel, both buttons, two more buttons around the scroll wheel, forward/back button and application switch button near the thumb rest groove. The logitech software lets you reprogram the buttons too.
