Has anyone found a (wireless or bluetooth)
keyboard & mouse that's MAC / PC compatabile ?

I have a Kensington PilotMouse Bluetooth Wireless which works with XP via Bootcamp on my MB. Its a great mouse; full size, unlike a lot of wireless mice/mouses, its actually bluetooth, and not just wireless, and doesnt seem to skip or lag too much.

I think the Apple wired keyboards work, but not wireless. Good luck finding a good bluetooth keyboard which works with X and XP; its hard enough to find one for X.

Wireless = Yuck

Get a wired keyboard and mouse unless you actually need wireless for some reason. Every wireless mouse I ever used skips and jumps, and they all need batteries.

There was a good article somewhere about how the consumer world has gone a little too far with this wireless craze, and how some things are just better with wires.

I own a Logitech Wireless Desktop LX700, which is on my PC, and a Apple Bluetooth Keyboard and the Logitech MX1000 and I couldn't live without wireless. My PC has wireless because it's a media center. I have experienced "jumps" on boths sets, but i have also experienced jumps on wired optical mice. It's just a glitch in the mice. I couldn't live without wireless now.

I am using a MS Wireless Natural Multimedia keyboard and mouse with my PC and Mac and they work just fine. If you load the MS driver you can use all the extra media keys as well. I use the volume and play, stop, etc. all the time with iTunes - works great.

You can never go to far with wireless IMO

The Apple bluetooth mouse and keyboard can be set up for use with Windows (google it, or use the Search function.)

Logitech MX-1000 laser mouse, works flawlessly with both PC and mac, and the control center app is universal already. Rechargeable battery- just pop it in the cradle, laser instead of optical so it is more precise, I only get skips and jumps when the battery is about dead and it shows you the battery indicator right there on the mouse. Contoured well, full size, 4 way/click scroll wheel, both buttons, two more buttons around the scroll wheel, forward/back button and application switch button near the thumb rest groove. The logitech software lets you reprogram the buttons too.

And if you want a full desktop go for Logitech's Cordless Desktop S 530 Laser for Mac

You also are forgetting that PCs and Macs have different keys.

Yes, they can be reprogrammed and rerouted. But it's not the same as having an actual PC keyboard and an actual PC mouse.

I use a Logitech Cordless Desktop Wireless Keyboard and Mouse. I got the set refurbished for about $30 on ebay. Works great in OS X and Windows, and it also works well through a KVM box.

I just bought the S 530 and although the range isn't quite what I would like, the dedicated iTunes/iPhoto/Spotlight/Safari/Mail buttons make it worth it.

Oh, and the keyboard is very slim, too. Not to mention I bought it from Amazon for $70 when that's how much the Bluetooth Mighty Mouse costs. Add in a first-party Bluetooth Apple keyboard (sans quick-launch app buttons, too, mind you) and I'd say the Logitech is definitely the deal.

I'm using a very nice but inexpensive Belkin keyboard set that runs on RF.
It runs on my PC very well and also mentions support for OS 8.6 and 10.x.

does anyone know of any mouse, wired preferably, that is white and would go well with a mac? and it must have right click...

yes sorry, BESIDES apples mighty mouse, does logitech or any company have a cool "mac" looking mouse? in other words, does logitech or any company have a mouse that would go well with a imac?
