Has anyone here had a new replacement because your first macbook was DOA?

It sems like my first one shipped out alo faster even though it was customzed. The wait is killing m here people! lol. How long did it take yours to ship out? Will my three years of AppleCare just switch over?

Also how is the new one? Did anyone experience problems with the new one too? I just don't want have that god awful loud beep again everytime I turned the camera on in imovie. Or a clicking hard drive or something like that. Seriously, someone say something good. lol.

DOA 'tops happen, apple will replace them. As far as shipping time it'll probably be about the same amount of time it took for your first 'top to get in (I mean... if you didn't get it at a B&M store), which should have been 2-4 days.

I am waiting for apple to send me my replacement right now. My original laptop was ordered on a thursday night with (5 day) standard shipping and sent out on a saturday; it got to me on Monday. It was dead. It wouldn't even boot up. I talked to apple and sent it back that night. It was delivered to apple wednesday (yesterday) around 11:00 AM so I called them around 3:00. They released the order for a replacement and said it would ship in 1-3 days with 2-day shipping. It hasn't shipped yet, I can't wait. But if it happens again I'm going to demand an upgrade or just get a refund and try again when Santa Rosa comes out.

Where are you at in the process?

Oh yeah, mine was customized too. I maxed out the ram.
