I know this is a very niche situation, but for every zillion Apple fans, there's got to be a small handful that has provided something for a parent, and is dealing with similar issues as it involves upgrades...
My Mom is really set with her iPad 3 and 4 of the older thicker style, which fits into the pretty decent Mophie iPad stands. They really are decent stands, and if you're not going outside the house, it's a handy stand to move around yet solid and stable enough for constant, regular use.
Since the iPad 3 and 4 are Retina displays, the whole system isn't outdated yet, but I'd love to have as good a stand for an iPad Pro. Has anyone modified a Mophie stand to fit a larger or newer iPad? Or been tempted to...?
