Hi,

I looked this up, but I wasn't able to find anything related to the 750Ti working under High Sierra. Does anyone here have this card and use it under High Sierra? If not, what about Sierra?

I'm thinking that this might be a good budget card for a Mac Pro, seeing as though I've seen references to it in the past.

-Thanks

I’ve been running El Capitan with gtx 750ti 2gb 2 to 3 years now it worked perfectly fine. Plus im using Mac-pro 2007

Pretty sure it will work as expected. Maxwell card has pretty good support from the web driver now. And web driver is now available in HS. Therefore, 750Ti should work as expected.

This card just died in High Sierra 10.13.4. I've spoken with NVIDIA, and they're basically just saying that it's no longer supported under Mac OS as "Nvidia cards are designed to come with support for Windows and Linux machines only".

I don't really blame NVIDIA for their response, but I'm just upset with the fact this card was working before, and now not.. with no reason / explanation why.

As mentioned in your other post, NVIDIA does not officially support GPUs beyond GTX 680 for Mac. Many newer cards do work with their web drivers. Founders Edition cards directly sold by NVIDIA are the most compatible. Any modifications from reference CAN cause an issue with the driver.

Make sure the driver is installed correctly and has been given proper permissions. You were missing some key startup files previously.

Yeah, I'm leaning in the direction of buggy installation, but as I mentioned in my other post, what can I possibly do to resolve that?

It's a mystery, and I'm very appreciative of the support I'm getting from this forum, I just hope it works out! I'm open to all suggestions at this point.
