Has anyone run into this when sinking an iPhone? unknown error (-19)

I am trying to help out a friend who is getting this error when she tries to sink her phone to her laptop:

an unknown error occurred (-19)

Maybe you should tell her to 'sync' it instead of 'sink' it. But seriously, just google it and try some solutions that other people have tried. For example here is one way of getting rid of that error:

I did try that in the form and had no luck?? (new here obviously)

try reinstalling itunes and make sure the phone is at the newest firmware (unless you want it unlocked/jailbroken, then keep it at 2.2)
