More troubleshooting. I deleted the contact info for my wife and also shut off iMessage. It still does it, just for messages from the wife.
Weird. But messages, texts and everything come through right?
Maybe something you installed to change the font or layout of the messages?
Themes or other similar hacks like winterboard?

You have Auki installed? In Auki if you swipe left on convo it gives you the option to "silent" the conversation.
I asked you if the messages are coming in fine.
So her messages were silent and only showed up if you checked there.
To get help you gotta give info and more details.

I'd think you'd label her wifey, i label mine wifey rather than her full name, try that.

I swear I had been hearing her message tones. I may not have though.. Sorry about the lack of info. I keep it on vibrate most of the time. I guess I just never payed enough attention.
No, when on silent mode you don't get no pop ups or any sounds or notifications.
You have to manually look Inside messages to see if someone send you a text.
But glad you figured it out, and know how it works for futures reference and other members that might experience the same.
