Hello! Hope everyone's had a great week so far. I'm super new to the forums and ordering from Apple online in general so I do apologize if this is in the wrong thread or has been asked before.

I placed an order for the 2020 IPP around late August and stuck around with the month long delivery wait (like many others haha). I found out there's a same configuration iPad in stock at my nearby Apple store today and tried to cancel my online order but couldn't find a way to cancel; I'm assuming it's because of the airpod promotion, which has already been delivered to me? I'm not to sure if it's even possible to cancel the order to be honest. I already called Apple Support but was met with an automated system that brought me back to my orders page with no option to cancel. I was thinking of calling my Apple store next to see what they can do but I doubt they would be able to manage online orders?

Note: Apple pencil and airpods have been delivered to me; ipad is still processing!

Once again, apologies if this has been a frequent question; I'm super new to this and my Google searches only led to Apple's FAQ with not much help.

TLDR: Has anyone successfully cancelled their IPP order or is it not possible to do so? If anyone has, what was your process about going on to cancel it?

In the US you can chat, call or email Apple Store Support to cancel your order. Not sure how you got into a loop that didn't route you to the contact options. When you're presented with preset support options, just go for the one that's "not listed" so that you get to the actual contact options. It can probably be resolved in 5 minutes via chat or phone.

If you look up your order online or using the Apple Store app, you should see a Cancel button on the screen after scrolling down a little.

Thank you so much! I didn’t know there was an option to say “talk to support” 😭. Just successfully cancelled my order!

Not an IPP order but a regular iPad order. I canceled a 7th generation order as it had not been billed or shipped yet. I then ordered an 8th generation iPad and it has been billed and shipped and should be here Tuesday
