I gave that program a try, very painful but it works. If you really really really have to do remote desktop and get something done it will work, but it is extremely slow (even on wifi).
It has a nice feature to list all running apps/windows and you can focus on just one. If you choose the 'entire desktop' option go grab a cup of coffee, eventually you'll see your desktop.
The 'target' for tapping isn't very accurate, it never showed up where I thought i had tapped, but usually was close enough to still accomplish simple click operations. Trying to reposition the cursor for typing... forget about it.
