Has anyone tried a usbc to MagSafe adapter?

I don’t want to post links to Amazon in case it’s against the forum rules, but there are these little usb adaptors that allow you to plug into MagSafe for charging.

This seems like a dream come true.
Has anyone tried these and could give feedback if they are legit? Is there a certain one you tried and like?

I’m hoping to use my current magsafe2 adaptor to plug right into one of these if that’s possible…. Seems like a game changer

Yeah I've used it when I was using my old MBA 2014 . Type c to MagSafe 2. It works pretty nicely.

I got some generic Chinese ones. ? Make sure you got one where it supports higher wattage if you need it. Since some can only go to 45w etc

There’s another variation that im seeing which is a small usb plug that seems to be pretty thin and plugs in and sits almost flush with the computer. It has a magnetic attachment, but it’s not clear it’s actually compatible with apples MagSafe. It looks like it has its own different pin arrangement

It depends. Just make sure it's MagSafe 2 and the other end is type c. Usually it says this on the description. It should be good . If you want you can share the image here. I'll see if I can recognize it

My experience with this one hasn't been good.

It seems that Amazon removed the one I like, which is a usb c to MagSafe2 cable which actually supports 85W charging for a 15" MBP.

It is different from the others I've tested in that it has a metal casing on both ends (usb c end and MagSafe end)
