Has anyone tried charging their iPad with the 28 Watt USB C brick?

Has anyone found a way to charge their iPad Air 2 with the 28 Watt Macbook Retina's USB C charger? I'm sure there are adapters that would allow Lightning from USB C by now. I know the iPad charges faster with the 12 Watt brick than the 10 Watt Brick... so I was just curious what happens if you feed it 28 Watts.
