I have jailbroke my 3G twice and it is now back to factory firmware. I am really disappointed with how slow my phone is after jailbreaking. I've read that cydia could be the cause of alot of those problems. My question: Has anyone jailbreaked and then installed all the apps they wanted from cydia and then removed all the stuff that cydia installs on your phone by default and just kept the apps they installed? Have you noticed any increased performance?

Going to 2.0.1 solved those issues for me.
