Will I still be able to re-activate my iPhone 3G in another country (say in Canada) but not having my phone connected to AT&T network?? Will iTune let me re-active as long as I have my orginal AT&T simcard in the phone but not connect to AT&T network??

i dont know if at&t simcard can work in other country. but JB iphone can use different simcard to connect corresponding network.

moving to india

So, I have an iphone 3g - I want to take it with me to India for a year or so. They sell iphones over there, but can I just take my US iphone there and get it activated through Airtel or Vodaphone? Or is there some restriction on phones purchased in the US?
