Has anyone used BillMinder?

I'm very, very interested in this app but wanted to know if anyone has used it and what they thought of it? Thank you.

it does what it says. You set the bill, to who you are paying, description... it reminds you, you can mark when you paid it. It's a good app

it's good if you want to organize your bills by due dates and the type of collector (cable, cell phone, electricity company, etc...) along with their info (mailing address, websites). you can set a reminder date for your bills too, say 5 days or 10 days in advance. so once you open the app, it'll pop a reminder (badge) on the icon (like a missed phone call or a new email). so that feature is pretty nice. i wish it can update automatically without having to open the app first.

aside from that, you can just use the standard notes program from apple and jot down the due dates of each bill and use that as a reminder...

Good app. Does exactly what it says. I got a promo code for it from the developer when it first came out and was very pleased with it and it recently was updated too.

Thanks for the BillMinder mention guys. We would absolutely LOVE to update the badge icon without making you open BillMinder. Unfortunately we can't do so unless Apple allows background processes or enables their push messaging service that was promised. This is a limitation of the iPhone SDK. Lots more updates planned (export via email, etc.). There is one teensy little bug in the latest update (trying to delete a collector crashes the app), but it does not affect data and a fix has already been submitted to Apple so don't worry about it!

Edit: We try to be prompt in terms of support and have added many user requested features. IMO, BillMinder is one of the best apps on the App Store (I might be a little biased, of course haha).

I would like to add that I have been using this app since its release and it has saved me quite a bit of money in late fee's. Even if it just reminds you to pay one bill on time, reimburses you the cost of the app. With the new updates you can now add account numbers, confirmation numbers if you paid online or over the phone and a history section to show all of your payments. There is also a collectors section now that replaced the old scroll wheel that was in use before. This has allowed me to actually see that I had created a few accounts twice. These guys have great customer service and respond almost immediately to questions or problems.

I highly recommend this app!
