The site offers PHP5, and I'm starting to learn PHP. Metrics and price for the site look good, but I don't know anyone who's used it. The information I have found is 100% positive; not to be cynical, but I've yet to find a company that hasn't made at least 1 mistake.

Any advice?

amacgenius uses them for his website I believe. I'll send him a link to this thread and see what insight he can offer. :)

Been with them for almost a year now, never had a problem, the staff is nice, they have fast shared servers, they offer cPanel, you can't go wrong with them.

I highly recommend them.

Many thanks to you both. I'll give it a whirl. I'm anxious to start learning PHP and MySQL, and hostgator looks like a good place to start.
