Hi everyone

I have a late 2013 rMBP 2.6/8/256

I hesitantly upgraded to El Capitan, but I really like it now and thankfully I don't have any issues.

My concern is that if I upgrade my 2013 rMBP to Sierra, it will get slow or something.

I'm running the same model (but with a 512 SSD), except my situation is slightly different: out of sheer laziness, I never upgraded from Mavericks. Unfortunately, I'm getting a lot of OS/browser incompatibility notices these days so it's time to move on (and give up my 3D dock :(). Still would like to know what 10.12 does to a 3 year old machine ...

I've been running the Public Betas on a late 2013 13" rMBP 2.4/8/256. Not so much as a hiccup. As fast or faster than El Capitan.

My is a late 20120 rMBP 256SSD, updated and running great!!!!!!!! Upgrade, NOT a clean install. I only had to ditch one applications: Quicken Essentials.....which I had quite using because it is worthless!

Unfortunately, I did have some compatibility issues with certain apps. I tried installing the older version of Java thinking that might fix the compatibility issues but no luck! Which sucks because the main app I need is for college. Oh well I guess.... :/

I have a 2012, the first model. Been upgrading yearly, and performance increases every time. It's the opposite of iOS.. I wouldn't hesitate to upgrade due to performance concerns. But I am holding back just because I'm still on iOS 8.

I have the same original 2012 rMBP and I have also experienced performance improvements with every new OS. It's wonderful, quite honestly.
