Has anything changed with notifications/lockscreen?

I apologize if this has been answered, I searched the forum before posting.

I believe they are still using the pop-ups, which is fine with me, but is there any sort of notification toolbar on top when you get an e-mail or have a voicemail?

How about any significant changes to the lock screen?

Nope, design wise, everything is the same.

However, push notifications have better performance.
